About the Artist

Angella Goodon is an emerging contemporary abstract artist, currently living and working in Kelowna, BC. From a young age, Angella's house was filled with creativity. Her dad, a metal artist, was always sketching and creating. She fondly remembers watching him in his shop welding wild creations from nothing more than scrap metal. Her brother is a musician so music always filled their house. As for Angella, she kept sketchbook after sketchbook of drawings and future paintings as her mind was always dreaming of its next great creation.  However, when she started a family her creativity took a back seat as she focused on supporting them. A full decade went by and it wasn't until her early 30's that she got her creative spark back. In January 2009, she decided to take a bold leap and start showcasing her new work. Angella created this website and was in several juried art shows in 2009, including ArtWalk. As well, an amazing opportunity was presented to her in October 2009 and she was part of Kelowna's only artist-run gallery, Little Shop of Artists.
